Basic FAQs

What is the definition of a high quality translation?

A high quality Czech to English translation is one that makes perfect sense in the target language, whilst taking into account the nuances of the original.

Why not outsource?

Our translations are done in-house, because we believe that agencies that outsource are only as good as their external translators. By keeping everything in-house, we can ensure the highest quality, as well as adhering to tight deadlines.

Why do I need a Czech to English translator? Isn’t a machine translation good enough?

In a word, no!

If your translated text is going to be published, then we would strongly recommend that you pay for a professional Czech to English translation. Furthermore, a native English speaker should be involved in the translation.

So, you never use software then?

Yes, we do! We use Computer Aided Translation (CAT) software, which is basically a translation tool that helps us work efficiently, while using consistent terminology.

What about confidentiality?

This is something that we take very seriously. We shall never show or discuss your private documents with anyone, whether it is a new product launch, a contract or a personal letter. We are happy to sign a NDA if you would you like us to.
